Fall into Autumn || Transitioning Your Wardrobe
It’s Earlier sunsets, brown fall-en leaves and pumpkin spice lattes!
The temperature is dropping but your style doesn’t have to 😉
And I’ll tell you how.
Check out this short outfit log~ I’m wearing my favorite staples from
each of the four seasons: high waisted shorts and a light sweater for
Summer day and night, a turtle neck for Winter, strappy Spring sandals
and a Fall fedora. It is fun mixing and matching for a shoot but in
reality how does one transition clothing from season to season? The
answer is Layering!
Layering is the gospel truth. We will go into detail in more Fall
fashion posts so stay tuned.
Right now, I’ll leave you with 3 tips:
– Don’t throw your summer clothes into storage right away, some basics
are great for layering over jackets, hoodies and sweaters.
– Shopaholics and all start building your wardrobe sooner rather than
later. At peak season, prices are typically at the highest because of
increased demand. Shopping earlier for seasonal clothes can save you a
couple dollars. Cha-Ching !
– Invest in key items: it’s worth it to spend a couple extra dollars
on a very good pair of boots or a great jacket, rather than several
lower quality pieces that won’t last very long.
I hope this helps someone x
